The crow, a symbol of misfortune and a madness bringer, comes to the S3ART Store to give a dark atmosphere to all visitors. If it wasn't because it's the cutest thing we've ever seen!
This rigged buddy will help to complete your Blender project, whether if it's a dark and tetric scene or a colorful and lively animation.
All the meshes found in this project are low-poly – while the eyes and claws use a subdivision modifier to increase the resolution, the body and tongue has a multires modifier with up to 4 subdivision levels. This can be useful to add detail in sculpt mode. Make sure the rig is in rest mode before modifying them or it will make some artifacts. Also, you can use the high-poly to project the detail into a texture.
Fully articulated character ready to make it move. The Inverse Kinematics and Forward Kinematics bones will let you get convenient movements, while the Tweak bones will give you more control over the rig. The corrective Shape-Keys controlled by drivers will guarantee a better looking mesh shape when joints fold. This correction will be made progressively when rotating some bones. In addition, the scene comes with a pose-library, which will help you when animating and playing around with the character.
Although the project has been made using the EEVEE render engine, it can be easily switched to Cycles. As the materials are very simple, it consists of a few 4K textures attached directly to a Principled BSDF shader. While most of the textures are 8-bit in PNG format, the Roughness and Height are 16-bit in TIF format. This ensures more accurate render results.
