Newbie Niko expresses frustration about his desire to learn Blender and create 3D characters, but he is unsure of where to begin. Pro Niko assures him that he can help and introduces himself as a professional 3D character artist and educator with extensive experience teaching Blender, Zbrush, and human anatomy. Pro Niko also mentions his two popular YouTube channels, Speedchar and Speedchar Live, which have tens of thousands of subscribers. Newbie Niko is excited to learn, and Pro Niko assures him that he has a course specifically tailored to his needs.

We will be starting from the very beginning in Blender and covering all of the necessary tools and actions needed to create an almost-cute rabbit character. Throughout the course, we will cover modeling, sculpting, basic materials, lighting, and rendering. So, get ready!

First, we will become familiar with the Blender interface and learn how to model and sculpt in the program by creating a basic human head as a warm-up exercise. Then, we will move on to creating the rabbit by working on the head, adding eyebrows, eyes, and hair. Next, we will move on to creating the body and limbs, with a focus on the tricky task of creating the hands, which we will work through together.

Creating the clothes will be the next task on our list, and with my guidance, you will be able to create them successfully. We will even make a character prop - a big chef knife, for cutting some huge carrots, perhaps? Once we have completed the modeling, we will move on to detailing, smoothing, and coloring the model.

After that, we will create a basic character rig to move and pose the arms and hands, so we can achieve the desired pose. Then, we will spend some time tweaking and fixing any issues before moving on to creating the materials and setting up the lighting. We will also learn about renders, lights, camera position, and even how to render with a transparent background and compose in Photoshop.

As a bonus, I will even show you how to make a turntable video of your character. This course is for absolute beginners in Blender and character art, but if you are an intermediate user and would like to create this character with me, you are welcome to do so. Now it's time to start the course, so I'll leave you to it. See you there! :)
